Barcel Mills' produces wood products that are shipped to industries all over the world. And out of the of by-products (120 tons per day) they have manufactured a whole new line of wood landscape products now being sold through Barcel Mills sister company Barcel Landscape Products, Inc.

"Before, we just burned our waste sawdust. Now we produce bedding for farm animals (50,000 pound of sawdust sells for only about $150) and compost for use in nursery potting soils.

The business has now grown to include some innovative products such as colored enhanced landscape mulches (in 5 colors) and a patented fall protection surface used under playground equipment.
